Cal Maritime Library's

Information Fluency Program

The Library's Information Fluency Program is dedicated to ensuring that all graduates are able to effectively navigate the vast amount of information available in a digital society.
To meet this goal, the program provides a range of instructional tools designed to meet the general and discipline-specific needs of students and faculty. These tools include curriculum-integrated information fluency sessions, a full-term class (LIB 100: Information Fluency in the Digital World), reference assistance, and individual research consultation.

We aim to serve the evolving needs of students, faculty and the general public in the Digital Age. The program is central to the mission and vision of the CMA Library and actively contributes to the mission and vision of Cal Maritime. If you are unable to locate the information you seek from our website, please contact our Information Fluency Librarian, Mindy Drake, for assistance.
