A comprehenive,
impartial documentation of the major events and
prominent figures involved in Arab-Israeli
relations in the last half-century. Includes a
chronology of events, political profiles, and an
extensive bibliography.
A collection of
747 conventions, agreements, declarations and
treaties of the greatest significance to the
United States. These include both current and
historical documents beginning with the Mayflower
Compact of 1620. Many treaties are extensively
quoted from or presented in their entirety. The
appendices include numerous web sites with
collections of treaties, URLs for links to
depository libraries, and a bibliography. A
detailed index is provided.
A thorough
accounting of America's wars from the time of
Columbus to the present day. The details of over
100 wars include chronologies of major battles;
portraits and photographs; an assortment of
letters, journal entries, and orders from
frontline soldiers to various presidents; a
bibliography; and index.
A three-volume
work detailing U.S. foreign affairs in
chronological order from colonial times until the
start of 2001. Volume 3 contains an extensive
index, topical bibliographies, and biographical
sketches of the secretaries of state from
1781-2001.

political economy. The A-Z list of entries is

involved in international terrorism. Includes a

sections, it begins with an overview of terrorism,
historical surveys of terrorism by region, laws
and court cases relating to terrorism, a

1946 on, brief biographies of major terrorists, a
glossary, a section devoted to conducting research
on terrorism, a comprehensive annotated
bibliography, contact information and web sites
for organizations and agencies involved in
terrorism-related issues, numerous appendices, and
an index.

and diplomacy including the international system,
its organization and participants; crises and
meetings; policies and doctrines; force and
