Gale Literary Databases
Search Contemporary Authors, Contemporary Literary Criticism Select and the Dictionary of Literary Biography to find in-depth information on the lives and writings of nearly 100,000 authors along with critical reaction to their works.  This database is available for SNAP (Solano Napa and Partners) library patrons. You will need a library card from one of the SNAP libraries in order to access it.  The John F. Kennedy Library in Vallejo is the SNAP library closest to the Maritime Academy.  It is located at 505 Santa Clara Street, across from the ferry terminal.  See the list of SNAP libraries for other library locations.
