Faculty at Cal Maritime share their expertise and research interests in these informal lectures, which include an interview and Q&A session moderated by a faculty member from another discipline. The series was launched in 2015 to promote a culture of research and scholarship on campus. It aims to share the excitement of research projects happening right now at Cal Maritime. Sponsored by the Cal Maritime Library and Faculty Development.

TED Talk discussions are a collaboration between the library and Residence Life. Topics are chosen and discussions are moderated by student leaders, with a variety of students, faculty and staff participating. These small group discussions give us an opportunity to discuss topics beyond the classroom setting with members of the whole campus community.
