Library Events & Programs
The Cal Maritime Library hosts and coordinates a variety of events and programs on campus throughout the academic year.
The Common Reading program involves all new Cal Maritime students and the campus community in reading a shared book, with the goals of acquainting new students with Cal Maritime’s academic environment, including its mission and values; initiating relationships between students and the campus community; introducing students to academic discussion; and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
