Cal Maritime Library News

The Library is closed Tuesday, June 3, 2025, so we can attend the first CSU Libraries Conference. We'll be back to business as usual on Wednesday, Jun 4. 

The Cal Maritime Library will be open 9-4 Monday-Thursday during summer 2025. We'll be open Friday, July 11, and closed May 26, June 3, June 19, and July 4. Regular semester hours resume Wednesday, August 20.

The Cal Maritime Library will be open early so you can get what you need before your exams, and has added hours on Saturday, April 26. Summer hours start Thursday, May 1, 2025. Full hours here.

Fri. April 25: 0730-2100
Sat. April 26: 0645-2100
Sun. April 27: 1400-2100
Mon. - Tues. April 28-29: 0645-2100
Wed. April 30: 0645-1700
Summer hours 0900-1600 start May 1.  

The Library will be closed Sunday, March 30 and Monday, March 31, 2025, in celebration of Cesar Chavez Day.  For more information, visit the Cesar Chavez Foundation. 

A variety of books by and about women, including fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novels, are on display in the Library. 

During Spring Break 2025, the Cal Maritime Library's hours will be:

• Closed Saturday-Sunday March 1-2 and 8-9
• Open 0900-1600 Monday-Friday March 3-7

Regular semester hours return on March 10. 

In honor of Black History Month, selected books on black history and black futures are on display in the Library. Come take a look….

Join the Solano County Library and Cal Maritime Library in a Sunset Paint-Along in the Library Green Room, Tuesday, February 18, 4-6 pm.

The Library has a display of books focused on studying effectively and making college work for you, up through the end of January.

The Cal Maritime Library will be closed Sunday, January 19 and Monday, January 20, 2025 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Regular semester hours resume Tuesday, January 16.
