Did you know the TSGB has a library? Our amazing Library Student Assistants, Sara and Stefan will open it up every evening. This year we spent a lot of time and effort in preparing materials for cadets on cruise. We gathered feedback from cadets on the books and games they would like us to provide and we listened. Checkout all that we have to offer:

  • Games - in addition to the always popular Chess and Settlers of Catan, we added Uno, multiple card decks (along with a dictionary of card games), Trivial Pursuit (2010-2020 ed), Root and a big book of Sudoko puzzles.
  • Decorate the walls - in an effort to make the lounge area more welcoming, we took down all the old photos and put up a series of paint-by-number canvases. We hope that cadets can come together help redecorate the blank walls.
  • Makerspace on the ship - we have a 3D printer, with hundreds of designs cadets can pick from.
  • Crafts to-go - for those that want to get creative, we have blank journals and bookmarks to be decorated with markers, pencils or paint. We also have zine templates and blank artist paper for those that want to draw or paint on their own.
  • All the books - we have travel books for all the stops, navigation books, popular fiction and non-fiction, and graphic novels.
  • GoPro cameras

We look forward to seeing how the TSGB Library was used this summer, check back for photos!
