The Cal Maritime Library is continually adding new materials t the collection. Take a look at our online collection of books added so far this year - you can sort by date, title, author or relevance, and search within the collection. The Cal Maritime Library will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Thursday, Nov. 28 through Sunday, Dec. 1, reopening Monday, Dec. 2. We will be open shortened hours Wednesday, Nov. 27, 0900-1300. We wish you safe travels if you're traveling!
One of our most popular guides, the Nautical Fiction Index, has been updated and enhanced with hundreds of new and revised author entries along with over 3000 book cover images. The Index is an alphabetical list, by author, of novels and other stories connected to the sea. Please let the library know of any additions to the list (as well as improved cover images) by email. Take a look some time - there are unusual and amazing titles in the list!
