If your phone or laptop is low, we have Omnicharge portable chargers for checkout with AC, DC, USB-A and USB-C ports, and wireless charging. Find them on our equipment page, or just come to the Help Desk during open hours. While you're at it, take a look at our other equipment such as GoPros, calculators, laptops and protractors.

The chargers check out for 4 hours and need to be returned by library closing time each day.

The Cal Maritime Library will be open early so you can get what you need before your exams, and has added hours on Saturday, December 14. We will have reduced hours starting December 18, and will be closed December 23, 2024 through  January 1, 2025. Our full hours are:

June 19, 1865, two years after President Abraham Lincoln presented the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, slaves in confederate states finally received word that they were free.

Freedom is a thread, and a fight, woven through this nation's history and current political climate. Continue to take action to celebrate and ensure true freedom for all through awareness of racial disparities, mobilization, and bold actions necessary to further the fight for social justice and equal opportunity.
