The Library is currently having trouble with the EXProxy server which gives us off-campus access to full text of electronic resources, such as articles and e-books. If you're trying to access the full text of an article or book and get a message that the server can't be found, such as the one below, you're encountering the EZProxy problem. We're working to get the problem fixed as soon as possible. Meanwhile, it may be worth it to try again - the problems seem to happen off and on. Feel free to ask us in the library if you'd like us to send a PDF of the resource, or have any questions! Sorry for the inconvenience.
In an unrelated issue, EBSCO, one of our database providers, is asking you to log in when you normally don't have to. Here's how to log in until the problem is fixed. If you see a message that EBSCO is unable to validate your credentials, like the one below, select "Access through your institution."
Then, type "Cal Maritime" in the search box under "Let's find your institution." Cal Maritime should be the first search result; select it and you should be able to access the EBSCO databases.
