Do an Advanced Google search to find company annual reports. These reports are written for shareholders and contain details about strategy, significant events, as well as financials. They are different from the 10K annual reports public companies file with the SEC. They emphasize positive news.
For example, after your keywords, add site:ford.com to search just the Ford website
You can use the Advanced Search features in Mergent to create a list of companies within a particular industry. Use the NAICS lookup to find companies within the maritime industry.

Hint: try NAICS category 48: “Transportation and Warehousing”
Subcategory: 483: “Water Transportation”
Subcategory: 4872 “Scenic and Sightseeing Transportation, Water”
