Session Description

Librarians Laurie Borchard and Kitty Luce presented on the role of open-access publishing in facilitating scholarship world wide. Their talk focused on issues raised by current developments in copyright, open licensing, academic publishing, citation equity, and transformative agreements. Libraries lead efforts to reduce or eliminate paywalls, promoting equity in scholarship.
