Search Tips for Finding Books
The Cal Maritime Library has lots of print and ebooks. All books can be found using OneSearch. Put quotation marks around key phrases ("reproductive rights"), titles of books or names of authors, public figures, etc. Limit your search by Format - Books on the left side of your search results in OneSearch.
Our print books are organized by the Library of Congress classification, see the image above for what it looks like. When you find a book in OneSearch and you see a "call number" that's essentially the address or location of the book on the shelf.
