- IS-2500: National Prevention Framework, an Introduction (FEMA EMI)"The course introduces participants to the concepts and principles of the National Prevention Framework. The goal of this course is to familiarize participants with the National Prevention Framework which provides guidance for all levels of government, private and nonprofit-sector partners, and individuals to prevent, avoid, or stop a threatened or actual act of terrorism." - Emergency Management Institute Independent Study Program (FEMA)"The Emergency Management Institute (EMI) offers self-paced courses designed for people who have emergency management responsibilities and the general public. All are offered free-of-charge to those who qualify for enrollment."
- Emergency Management Institute Virtual Table Top Exercise - VTTX (FEMA)" The Emergency Management Institute (EMI) conducts a monthly series of Virtual Table Top Exercises (VTTX) using the Zoom platform to reach community based training audiences around the country and provide a virtual forum for disaster training. The VTTX process involves key personnel from the emergency management community of practice reviewing a pre-packaged set of exercise materials then convening for a four-hour table top exercise discussing a simulated disaster scenario."
