What is WIPO?

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is a United Nations agency established in 1967 to promote international protection of intellectual property.

They promote and administer international laws and treaties related to patents, trademarks, and copyright.

WIPO maintains a database for patents from Asian, Latin American, and African countries.
