Evan Haglund: Preventing the Future War with China in the South China Sea
Abstract
China has become an economic and military power in the South China Sea, and that will cause the major powers and regional allies to make new decisions for the future of the region. Currently there are many events causing the dispute in the region. New solutions will need to involve diplomacy from China and the ASEAN countries to be effective.
